Three of my heroes on one stage. Really? Who are they then? Well, I will tell you: Keith Mansfield, Alan Hawkshaw and Brian Bennett. Er who? Well, you might know the last one: he was the drummer in The Shadows. But all three have between them written and recorded monumentally good music for the KPM library music publisher back in the 60's/70's. To give you an example: Keith Mansfield wrote the Grandstand Theme tune. But really, these guys wrote a lot of music back in the day that was used for TV and film. Not too long ago, they did a performance together as the KPM big band. Here's a snippet. Love it!
